This is really cool! I just found this Rotobowl league feature. Each week the site puts together a weekly recap... really frickin cool! Here's our week 3 recap...
(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Sep 28, 2009) In a week 3 RotoBowl League 15 showdown, Double Dragon beat a strong Loco Motive team by a score of 144.15 to 127.55, extending the winning streak for Double Dragon to 3 games.
Reggie Wayne
Double Dragon were led to their 16.60 point victory by a 25.60 point effort from Reggie Wayne, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 126 receiving yards and 1 receiving td. With this performance, Wayne was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 3. They also got help from a 21.65 point effort from Philip Rivers, who beat the Miami Dolphins defense for 303 passing yards in addition to 5 rushing yards.
"We weren't going to just roll over," Double Dragon coach Spit Flames & Call Me Dragon said.
Loco Motive were helped out in a losing cause by a 23.80 point effort from Tashard Choice, who got by the Carolina Panthers defense for 82 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 36 receiving yards. With this performance, Choice was the number 3 ranked running back for week 3. They also got help from a 20.30 point effort from Anquan Boldin, who got by the Indianapolis Colts defense for 83 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.
"I'm really proud of our guys," Loco Motive coach Lynn Renfro said.
Compounding the issue, Loco Motive could have scored 146.05 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Lynn Renfro left key players like Matthew Stafford and his corresponding 18.35 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Double Dragon to 3-0, and drops Loco Motive to a record of 1-2.
Coming up in week 4, Loco Motive are at the 2-1 Dr Victory, where Dr Victory are an early 15.1-point favorite, while Double Dragon are at the 2-1 the zaza's, where the zaza's are an early 40.8-point underdog.
